About The Role

As a Social & Affiliate Specialist at Belami Ecommerce, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's story and connecting with our target audiences and customer cohorts. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to elevate our online presence.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
Comprehensive Social Media Strategy
- Develop and implement a holistic social media strategy across diverse platforms, including Facebook, Youtube, TikTok, Instagram, and others.
- Align strategies with overarching marketing goals and brand positioning for a cohesive online presence.
Growth and Engagement
- Innovate and execute initiatives to achieve significant growth and engagement on all social media channels.
- Set and meet team goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement.
Monthly KPI Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct thorough monthly analysis of key performance indicators, providing actionable insights for optimization.
- Perform competitive audits to stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies.
Social Community Management
- Oversee the social community management program, ensuring timely and meaningful responses to audience interactions.
- Foster a positive and engaged online community around the brand.
End-to-End Social Media Initiatives
- Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of social media initiatives, from strategic planning to execution, monitoring, and optimization.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and external agencies to align initiatives with overarching business objectives.
Paid Social Media
Paid Media Strategy Oversight
- Develop and execute a comprehensive paid social media strategy, integrating it seamlessly into the overall marketing plan.
- Oversee an external content agency responsible for the day-to-day operations of paid media, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
Budget Management
- Manage the paid media budget effectively, optimizing spends to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
Performance Analysis and Optimization
- Analyze paid media performance metrics regularly, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate with the external agency to implement changes based on performance data.
Written Content and Video Creation
Cross-Channel Written Content Strategy
- Develop a comprehensive written content strategy spanning blogs, white papers, and SEO content, ensuring alignment with social media activities.
- Collaborate closely with the creative content team to maintain consistency across owned channels.
Monthly Content Shoots for Short-Form Video
- Plan and execute engaging monthly content shoots focused on creating compelling short-form video content.
- Emphasize product education and entertainment to resonate with the target audience.
Collaboration with Creative Content Team
- Work closely with the creative content team to conceptualize, select, and refine assets, ensuring a cohesive brand message and visual identity.
Key Metrics Analysis and Strategy Refinement
- Analyze key metrics associated with written and video content, refining strategies based on performance data.
- Engage actively with followers, responding to queries promptly, and monitoring customer reviews for continuous improvement.
Innovative Strategies
- Bring creative and strategic thinking to the table, constantly ideating new and innovative ideas to enhance written SEO content.
- Position the core websites as thought leaders in the home décor lighting and outdoor patio living spaces through high-value written content.
Affiliate Marketing
Day-to-Day Operation of Affiliate Referral Program
- Efficiently operate the day-to-day activities of the affiliate referral program, ensuring smooth and effective collaboration with affiliate partners.
Strategy Development for Referral Program
- Drive the overarching strategy behind the referral program, expanding partnerships with diverse affiliates, including blogs and deal sites.
Launch and Management of Content Creator-Led Affiliate Program
- Pave the way for the launch of a pioneering content creator-led affiliate program, involving the discovery, contracting, and partnership with affiliate content creators.
- Focus on producing short-form video content in exchange for a percentage of sales, maximizing engagement and brand awareness.
Project Management of Existing Affiliate Marketing Program
- Project manage the existing affiliate marketing program, concentrating on blogs and deal sites, and ensure consistent month-over-month growth.
- Regularly report progress, trends, opportunities, and challenges to the leadership team.
Requirements
If you are excited about shaping brand narratives, creating engaging content, and driving growth through innovative strategies, we want to hear from you. To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably for an agency, start-up, or high-growth business. Experience managing influencer relationships is a plus.
- Video production experience with proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools.
- 1-2 years of experience in affiliate marketing, preferably with experience working with the Share-A-Sale or Impact affiliate platforms.
- Expertise in YouTube content production and promotion whether for your own channel or those of your previous employer.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
- Must be a strategic thinker with a keen focus on innovative marketing strategies for growth.
- Self-motivated, organized, and proactive mindset.
- Proven track record in B2B and B2C content marketing for e-commerce or social brands.
- Experience with SEO, content management systems, and email marketing.
