Position Summary:
As a Sr. Partnership Manager at Startupr, you will spearhead our sales initiatives, focusing on driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. This pivotal role involves not just managing sales operations but also strategically aligning them with our broader goals to support the startup ecosystem. You must be a dynamic leader, adept at navigating the unique challenges of the startup market and passionate about propelling Startupr into a thriving future.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy that aligns with Startupr’s mission and growth objectives. This includes identifying high-potential market opportunities, defining sales targets, and ensuring the sales strategy supports our long-term vision.
- Partnership Development: Lead efforts to forge strategic partnerships that enhance Startupr’s service offerings and market position. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, potential clients, and key partners to drive mutual success.
- Sales Operations Management: Oversee and optimize the sales team’s operations, ensuring the achievement of sales targets through efficient processes and systems. Implement best practices that streamline operations and boost productivity.
- Market and Customer Insights: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and customer needs, adapting strategies to keep Startupr’s offerings relevant and competitive. Leverage insights to tailor our approach to different market segments.
- Community Engagement and Brand Advocacy: Represent Startupr in the startup community by actively participating in events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Enhance our brand’s visibility and foster relationships that lead to business growth.
- Team Leadership and Culture Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team that embodies Startupr’s values and culture. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and accountable work environment.
Offering:
- Equity Stake: 2% equity in Startupr, vested over four years with a one-year cliff, reflecting the strategic importance of the Sr. Partnership Manager role in our company’s success.
- Compensation: Given the early stage of our venture, financial compensation is initially unavailable. To align with our need for a self-sustaining leader, we offer a substantial equity stake in the company. Post-launch, compensation will transition to a net revenue share model, reflecting the Head of Sales’ equity stake in Startupr. This approach is designed to reward early commitment and contribution to Startupr's success.
- Success Fee: Earn a percentage from successful deals and clients onboarded, providing direct financial rewards for achieving sales targets.
Experience:
- Proven track record in sales and/or business development leadership within the tech, startup, or product development sectors.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with significant experience in startup environments.
- Expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to forge significant partnerships and close deals.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
