Position Overview: As an SEO Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, measuring, and improving the performance of our SEO efforts. Your main focus will be on tracking key SEO metrics, identifying areas for optimization, and developing strategies to increase our organic search traffic. You will collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure that SEO strategies are effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic search improvement.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Conduct on-page SEO audits to optimize website content, meta descriptions, title tags, internal linking, and overall site architecture.
- Analyze off-page SEO factors, including backlink profiles, and recommend strategies for link building and authority improvement.
- Track and analyze website traffic and engagement metrics to measure the effectiveness of SEO strategies.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure that all written content is SEO-optimized.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep strategies competitive and aligned with search engine guidelines.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure technical SEO improvements, such as site speed optimization, mobile optimization, and structured data implementation.
- Prepare regular SEO performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting insights, areas for improvement, and recommendations.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in our SEO strategies and leverage those insights to improve performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SEO Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and presenting actionable insights.
- Knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO, as well as technical SEO elements like site speed and structured data.
- Experience working with CMS platforms, such as WordPress.
- Ability to interpret complex data and turn it into clear, actionable strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development concepts.
- Experience with local SEO and mobile optimization.
- Google Analytics certification is a plus.
