⚡ Software Engineer (Strong AI focus)

🌍 San Francisco (2 days per week in San Mateo)

💲 $130,000 - 150,000 base salary plus equity in Series A

A GenAI start-up focused on employee learning and education is searching for a Software Engineer with an AI background to join their team.

They've raised a Series A this year and are carefully scaling their teams out in line with their scaling revenue.

They're looking for someone with at least 3 years of professional experience (ideally a start-up) who has experience shipping AI/ML products. You should be passionate about the future of GenAI in education

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and implementation of our generative AI features, aiming to create engaging and user-friendly experiences.
Assist in the engineering processes, including model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and coding, to support key product features.
Collaborate with a team of engineers and stakeholders to design and implement features that align with current and future needs.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and best practices.

Requirements:

At least 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role, with a recent focus and experience shipping AI/ML products, ideally in EdTech
Exposure to LangChain and familiarity with its application in AI development.
Solid programming skills in languages such as Python and JavaScript.
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Enthusiasm for using generative AI to impact the education sector positively
