Developer Experience Engineer

Location: San Francisco - Flexible hybrid working model

Compensation: $150,000-$180,000 + equity + benefits

DevRel Talent is exclusively partnered with a successful start-up operating in the AI/API space who are looking to make a crucial hire as they have experienced huge success and want to focus on community engagement and developer success via their developer experience team

Overview & Summary

Develop and execute developer experience strategy to support both new and existing users.
Engage with developers by working in community channels to provide support.
Provide data-driven analysis, research, and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Work closely with engineering teams and be hands-on in improving the developer-facing parts of their product.

Job Requirements.

3+ years of experience in a developer experience role, ideally for a dev tools company.
A strong understanding of developer success and the best forms of communication.
In-depth knowledge of API development.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility and ability to thrive in an ever-changing startup environment.
