Job Title : Document Clerk / Records Clerk
Location : Houston, TX – ONSITE ROLE
Contract role
Shift : Full time - Day shift
Work Hours: 32-40 hours/ week
Compensation: DOE/HR on W2 - Paid weekly
Document Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's physical and electronic records. They play a crucial role in ensuring that all documents are organized, easily accessible, and stored in compliance with company policies and regulations.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- MS EXCEL - Strong
- VLOOK UP/ PIVOT in Excel/ MS Excel Spreadsheet / SharePoint Database
Day to day:
- Scanning and loading documents into a Database or SharePoint?
- Sorting and properly categorizing documents and/or records?
- Inputting information into Excel spreadsheets?
- Categorize, file and retrieve documents from the file room for the records team.
- Clerks are responsible for retrieving various documents stored alphabetically and numerically and distributing to requesting team member.
- Clerks might be required to keep records and logs of document retrievals, updates, distributions and removals.
