Somerset White is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the Finance Manager.
We are looking for candidates with some experience in office administration, accountancy, data entry, bookkeeping or similar.
Candidates must have experience with: Xero, Excel and online banking systems.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm. One day WFH post training (6-months).
Day to day duties will include:
- managing petty cash
- reconciling accounts
- credit control / chasing up payments etc
- query resolution
- general filing
- generating statements and raising invoices
- heavy data entry
- some office management – ordering supplies, helping with office systems and helping to ensure smooth running of office
- Some wider client team support and occasional paid weekend work
Skills and Experience
- 2 years prior experience in a similar role is desirable
- Strong numeracy skills
- An extremely proactive and positive manner
- A keen eye for detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to work to tight deadlines/under pressure
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- ‘No job is too big or too small’ attitude
