They are equally comfortable working with both clients and engineers. Their past technical and agile experience allows them to analyze new requests and issues in order to create proper documentation and actionable tickets. Their past knowledge combined with a willingness to learn, will allow them to play a key role in both large and small scale projects. A need for organization and borderline perfectionism will push the SM2 team to produce high quality products in the most efficient means possible. - Service Desk & Client Management As it pertains to SM2, the Senior JavaScript & Wordpress Engineer will achieve this in the following ways: Pulling from past experience and bringing new knowledge to the SM2 team. Clearly communicating with engineers and project managers through proper channels, with ample documentation and explanation. Ability to be patient with non-technical clients while providing informed answers. Taking ownership of end to end testing in both simple and complicated projects. Ability to accurately assess testing timelines and budgets, as well as identify pitfalls and problem areas. Writing and execution of test cases, recording results in tickets. Recognizing opportunities to increase productivity and take initiative and risks to improve SM2’s processes. Work & Behavioral Requirements: Extremely Organized & Detail Oriented Ability to back up ideas with research and reason. Openness to learning new technology without being prompted to do so.
