Exciting Opportunity for an Online Community Manager!

As the main point of contact for our members, you’ll create an inspiring environment where individuals feel supported, connected, and empowered to achieve their professional and personal goals.
In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining a dynamic, results-driven, and interactive community. You’ll develop innovative engagement strategies, guide new members through their onboarding journey, respond to questions, manage incentive programs, and ensure members feel connected to each other and the leadership team.
What You'll Do:
- Be the Heart of Our Community: Lead daily interactions with members, keeping them energized and informed. You'll be the go-to person for fostering a strong, supportive environment.
- Create Engaging Content and Events: Design and manage newsletters, discussions, and announcements that keep members excited about upcoming events, new resources, and community milestones. Plan and execute dynamic webinars, live Q&As, and virtual meetups that bring value to our members.
- Build Connections and Encourage Collaboration: Facilitate introductions, promote active engagement, and create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages collaboration and sharing of insights, especially for newcomers.
- Onboard New Members with Confidence: Develop a seamless onboarding process, complete with engaging welcome materials like videos and interactive guides, to help new members feel at home and ready to dive into the community.
- Drive Member Retention and Growth: Track member engagement metrics and identify opportunities to re-engage at-risk members. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and keep the community thriving.
- Moderate and Cultivate a Positive Space: Ensure a respectful and professional environment by actively moderating discussions and addressing conflicts with fairness and diplomacy. Keep the community vibrant and focused on collective success.
- Continuously Improve and Innovate: Collect feedback and collaborate with the leadership team to introduce new features, content, and strategies that align with the evolving needs of our members. Your insights will help shape the future of the community.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years managing online communities, ideally within the real estate, education, or investment spaces.
- Top-notch written and verbal skills, with a knack for creating engaging content and building meaningful relationships.
- Comfortable using community management platforms, CRMs, and other digital tools. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Ability to address challenges with creative solutions that support both the community and organizational goals.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for developing strategies that keep the community active, growing, and satisfied.
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail, able to manage multiple responsibilities with ease.
Bonus Skills:
- Background in professional services industries is a plus.
- Experience using gamification tactics to boost engagement and member participation.
- A genuine passion for helping people succeed and a deep understanding of community dynamics.

Please note: This role is located in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. While the position is hybrid, it is NOT fully remote, so you will need to live and reside in the area for consideration. All applicants must be eligible to work in the US with no restrictions.
