Job Summary: The Omaha Steaks Product Manager leads the strategic roadmap of our ordering channels from conception to launch. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, understanding customer needs, and ensuring that our ordering channels meet market demands and align with our company’s goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, creative, and development to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our customers' experience and drive business growth. This individual must work closely with the business teams to prioritize short and long term opportunities, focusing on the most impactful initiatives and looking to understand real-time performance as enhancements are tested and implemented.
Essential job duties include:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives. Define the product roadmap based on market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and use them to measure the product's success. Continuously monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on features to improve user satisfaction.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines new features and capabilities, continuously updating the roadmap based on changing business priorities and market conditions.
- Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog. Ensure that the most valuable features are delivered first, balancing customer needs with technical constraints.
- Champion the user experience by working closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that products are intuitive, easy to use, and meet customer expectations.
- Partner with customer insights to conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Use data-driven insights to prioritize product features and enhancements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful products. 5+ years’ experience in information architecture, interaction design, usability, and prototyping. 5+ years’ experience in retail and e-commerce functionality highly preferred.
- Ability to analyze performance through web analytics and session tracking
- Advanced understanding of developing user testing and prototyping.
- Previous knowledge of user experience and product design thinking.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills. Understanding of business KPIs and impact on company profitability.
- High attention to detail with a strong analytical ability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate with senior management.
- Strong collaboration, planning, and prioritization skills.
