This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role is located in San Francisco, CA with hybrid abilities preferred but potentially open to fully remote.

We are looking for a highly motivated Direct Mail Marketing Associate to lead strategy, execution, and reporting for our direct mail campaigns. In this role, you will ensure that campaigns effectively engage and convert target audiences while meeting business goals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and oversee end-to-end campaign processes to drive measurable success.

Key Responsibilities:
This role focuses on three key areas:
1. Direct Mail Campaign Strategy:
- Develop and drive targeting strategies for both prospects and current customers.
- Create and manage the roadmap for direct mail campaigns across multiple products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas and develop campaign strategies.
- Leverage data (using tools like Tableau) to inform and optimize campaign strategies, including test-and-learn approaches.
- Ensure strategic alignment with internal stakeholders and keep creative strategies in sync with targeting goals.
- Stay informed on product updates and competitive trends to adjust strategies as needed.
2. Direct Mail Campaign Execution:
- Oversee the full execution of approved campaigns, ensuring all steps are completed on time and as planned.
- Work with project managers to ensure timelines are realistic and deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with teams such as Marketing Data Science, Lifecycle Marketing, Marketing Technology, and Engineering to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Continuously communicate campaign progress and address any potential issues.
3. Reporting, Attribution, and Optimization:
- Provide regular campaign performance reports, analyzing key metrics and recommending optimizations.
- Review dashboards to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize audience targeting.
- Prepare and present campaign performance insights to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of account management experience in marketing or at an agency, managing campaigns for a brand or business.
- Strong experience leading targeting strategies, campaign execution, and performance reporting (Direct Mail experience is a plus).
- Proven ability to manage internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Experience working with financial products or in a financial services environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools is a bonus.
