Kenna Recruitment is immediately searching for an experienced Office Manager / Events Coordinator to join one of the UK's Leading Main Contractors in their stunning Head Office with a team of around 25.
We are looking for someone with a good level of experience that will be able to run the office and have events coordination responsibilities for the business and with a background in construction and office management.
The role is as much about making sure the office runs well as being someone that is comfortable with front of house professionalism when receiving directorate and other important visitors to our offices.
Overview:
- Organising and managing diaries for the senior team (Technical Lead & Senior Commercial Manager) including scheduling and facilitating meetings.
- Other general office administration duties include answering phones, dealing with enquiries and assisting all staff where required
- IT set up for new starters
- Creating PowerPoint Presentations and/or other documents for internal and external meetings
- Maintaining holiday records and calendar
- Collating expenses
- Travel arrangements where required
- Ensuring the office maintenance and welfare is maintained – Edmunds Services
- Ordering/managing budgets for supplies and consumables
- Office Health & Safety including monthly inspections and keeping records
- Management of all site administrative team.
- Office event management (office gatherings, raffles, Christmas etc)
Key requirements:
- Effective communication.
- Good organisation skills.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Great time management.
- Be a team player
- 4 years minimum working within the construction industry
