The Opportunity
Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.
The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.
Program Details
An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora’s career growth opportunities.
2025 Program Dates
- June 2 - August 15, 2025
- Working hours: 36hrs/week. Monday – Friday, PST
- June 16 – 19: On-Site Week in San Francisco at headquarters office
- June 30 – July 4: Week off for vacation
Intern, SEO
YOUR ROLE AT SEPHORA...
As the SEO Intern, you will assist the SEO team in the management and optimization of Sephora’s Organic Search marketing program, write on-page optimizations for Sephora.com, contribute to Sephora’s local search strategy, and research the latest trends in beauty, skincare, hair, and wellness.
What You Will Accomplish
- Lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach
- Learn from the best in the industry by interacting with a dynamic team of digital marketing professionals
- Competitive, performance and technical analysis using a variety of Analytics and Enterprise level tools
- Understand the role of SEO in Client Experience and Digital Media mix
- Develop a solid understanding of Digital Marketing, content creation, and off-site promotion

Eligibility Requirements
- Graduating in 2025 or 2026 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
- Remote program – work schedule must align with Pacific Standard Time
- Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
- Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions *
- Available for the 1-week On-Site office experience in San Francisco, CA
The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
